Medicare Safety Net
Visiting a doctor or having tests will cost you less once
you have reached the Medicare Safety Net threshold.
The Medicare Safety Net provides financial assistance for people who incur high medical costs by minimizing their out of pocket expenses.
Once the family reaches the relevant threshold they still pay the same amount upfront to see the doctor but they receive a higher rebate.
